Join us for Day On The Bay at Alviso Marina County Park on Sunday, October 13th

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CACounty Parks and County Supervisor Otto Lee invite the community to join us for the annual multicultural festival, Day On The Bay 2024. This event will be at the Alviso Marina County Park, 1195 Hope Street, on Sunday, October 13 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

“The Day On The Bay Festival is one of our favorite days of the year! We enjoy having fun with the community and sharing important resources and services,” said Supervisor Otto Lee. “Alviso Marina is the only waterfront park in the County connecting us to the Bay, so this year, in addition to our health resources, we are also highlighting environmental wellness and sustainability.”

Our 2024 event will include a resource fair with more than 100 booths centered on environmental health and community wellness while showcasing the Alviso Marina, along with several family-friendly recreation activities including:

Pumpkins for Kids* - Kayak Rentals* - Flu Shots* - Youth Activities and Rock Wall - Multicultural Entertainment - And More! (*while supplies last/limited availability) - Follow link for more information: d3.santaclaracounty.gov/day-bay-2024

The Bike To The Bay Ride is also back for 2024 and will start at the James P. McEntee Plaza at the County Government Center, 70 W. Hedding Street, San José. Riders will gather at 9:00 AM and depart shortly after a safety presentation. This ride is made possible by our friends at the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and San José Bike Party, with free bike valet parking provided by Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition. More information about this family-friendly ride along the Guadalupe River Trail to Alviso is available at d3.santaclaracounty.gov/bike-bay-ride-2024

Parking and shuttles will be available at the George Mayne Elementary School (5030 North First Street, Alviso, CA 95002). Sign-ups for kayaks will begin at 10:00 am.

Since 2009, Day On The Bay has drawn thousands of residents to enjoy activities that celebrate the rich diversity and culture of our County. According to the Mercury News, this is the most well attended event in the historic waterfront town of Alviso.

Note: While we love our pets and furry friends, due to habitat protection, no pets are allowed at the Alviso Marina County Park.
