We have TWO special rides happening this year - the Primary San Jose Ride & Sunnyvale Support Ride. For the Primary/San Jose Ride, we'll be gathering at the James McEntee Plaza at the County of Santa Clara Government Center - 70 West Hedding Street, San Jose, CA 95110 - beginning at 9:00 AM - the ride will depart shortly after a safety presentation at 9:30 AM. All ages welcome to these family-friendly rides.
The 2023 Primary Route will follow the Guadalupe River Trail right to the Marina in time for the start of Day On The Bay 2023. The route is approximately 8 miles long and we will have a stop at Riverview Park for anyone that would like to join a shorter ride.
The Sunnyvale Support Ride Route will follow the 2022 route - gathering at the Plaza del Sol in Sunnyvale beginning at 9:00 AM and is also an all ages family-friendly ride. Please note that only the San Jose route has formal support from the County of Santa Clara - and we want to thank our friends at San Jose Bike Party and Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition for their support.
The bicycle remains the best alternative to cars and automobiles, and with our Free Bike Valet Parking hosted by Silicon Valley Bike Coalition, riding your bike to the festival is the best choice for fun!
